ARPA-H Travel Specialist

ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). In this role, you will serve as a Travel Specialist to ARPA-H—enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As a Travel Specialist, you will provide support to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.

What you will do:

• Support agency wide travel including preparation, submission in the travel system, and provide guidance
• Collaborate effectively within a diverse team:
• Build strong relationships with scientists, engineers, and other advisors involved in the program.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.

Salary Range: $20.08-$32.13

• EDUCATION: Associate degree in any field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Travel Planning
• Specific knowledge and expertise in preparing and reviewing manually and electronically generated travel authorizations and vouchers, processing passport/visa applications, Commercial Ticketing Office (CTO) operations and use of GSA City Pair airfare rates is required.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
