ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). In this role, you will serve as a scientific and technical advisor to ARPA-H—enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As a “systems engineering and technical assistance” advisor, you will provide support to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.
What you will do:
- Serve as a technical expert in Women's Health
- Manage a portfolio of research projects related to Women's Health
- Track milestones and deliverables of the projects
- Provide advise and guidance on project advancements
- Support commercialization of research projects
- Stay current with scientific advancements:
- Actively track and analyze new research findings in this field.
- Identify and propose emerging methodologies and technologies that could enhance the program's progress.
- Participate in scientific discussions and presentations, contributing your expertise to the program's overall knowledge base.
- Collaborate effectively within a diverse team:
- Build strong relationships with scientists, engineers, and other advisors involved in the program.
- Communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and problem-solving exercises to drive the program forward.
- Ph.D in Cellular or Molecular Medicine or related field
- Minimum of 14 years of experience in research related to Women's Health
- Demonstrably strong expertise in healthcare strategy and policy development
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write reports.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.
Req Benefits:
Salary : $100,000 - $180,000
