ECS is seeking a Consultant to work remotely. Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract win].
ECS is seeking a full-time Consultant to provide client delivery services to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Claims and Appeals Modernization Office. under the Office of Governance, Regulations, Appeals, and Policy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with proven critical thinking, communication, and client relationship skills. The Claims and Appeals Processing Analyst will be responsible for:
- Reviewing claim, appeal, and other correspondence received through multiple sources, including VA's Central Mail Portal and VA email
- Identifying correspondence-related program area, VAMC or VISN (where applicable)
- Routing correspondence for action
- Accessing and using VA claim and appeal systems, including Centralized Mail Portal, Case flow, and VBMS
- Logging correspondence for tracking
- Following up with overdue correspondence
- Managing special handling correspondence
- Escalating unclear correspondence for review by first and second-level supervisors
Salary Range: $70,000-$76,000
