Database Architect

The Senior Database Architect will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining databases that support data storage and processing across the organization. This role involves developing strategies for data warehouse implementation, data acquisition, access, archiving, and recovery. The Senior Database Architect will also build data models, define the structure and attributes of data elements, and ensure data sources adhere to organizational quality standards and are easily integrated into existing systems.

• Design, build, and manage scalable databases for effective data storage and processing.
• Develop and implement strategies for data warehouse setup, including data acquisition, access, archiving, and recovery processes.
• Create and maintain data models, defining the structure, attributes, and nomenclature of data elements in alignment with organizational standards.
• Evaluate new data sources for integration and ensure adherence to the organization's data quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure databases meet technical and business requirements.
• Work with project teams to provide technical guidance on database architecture and implementation, ensuring databases align with project goals and organizational needs.
• Contribute to systems coordination and support data management activities for projects, with a focus on database design, data storage, and data accessibility.
