What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Support Analyst position at ECS Federal, LLC?
ECS is seeking a Logistics Support Analyst to work in Arlington, VA.
- Monitor original equipment manufacturer and software developer End of Life, End of Sale, and/or End of Support notices, updating internal resources of impending deadlines and updating project plan and RMF documentation as required
- Coordinate procurement efforts for all assets related to the CNIC Enterprise Services Center, including creation of required documentation, interactions with other CNIC N-codes to ensure timely submission of requirements, and act as the knowledgeable party for annual renewal deadlines for ongoing application licensing.
- Coordinate the identification of technical replacement equipment, procurement and receiving of assets in tandem with technical staff to ensure that the identified equipment meets project requirements.
- Maintain an authoritative list of assets on the contract, and act as the designated property accountability point of contact for CNIC Enterprise Services Center, including management of asset data in IssueTrak.
- Identifies and assesses potential risks associated with asset management, develops and implements risk mitigation strategies & monitors and reports on risk exposures.
- Stays informed of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Maintain the full property lifecycle management process, including perform property disposal IAW Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services' procedures as required.
- Assists in the creation of documentation to support Risk Management Framework STIG implementations, process documentation for data center operations and hardware design specifications
- Directly interface with various government officials and contract based staff including Application owners, CESC Program/Project managers, CESC Engineering groups, downstream network customer representatives, OGA representatives and outside vendor/contractor support personnel in support of ongoing projects or tasks.
- Active Secret clearance
- 2 years experience with CNIC procurement processes, documentation and requirements
- Knowledge of Federal procurement rules, restricted technology categories and DISA APL contents
- Good verbal and written communication skills a must
