ECS is seeking a Military Analyst SME/Project Coordinator SME to work in Ft. Rucker, AL.
The SETA II contract provides for Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to PEO STRI and limited requirements of PEO STRI customers, related to PEO STRI's mission.
PEO STRI requires Military Analyst SME / Product Coordinator SME support. This position assists in the organization's execution of the Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) in accordance with Training & Doctrine Command TRADOC Regulation (TR) 71-20, "Concept Development, Capabilities Determination, and Capabilities Integration". This position assists in determining, documenting, and processing warfighting concepts, future operational capabilities, and Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership and Education, Personnel and Facilities (DOTMLPF) requirements. This position assesses concepts to identify gaps in required capabilities and makes recommendations to develop and manage the integration of DOTMLPF solutions and the development of JCIDS capability documents. This position assists in a line capacity in supporting, one or more programs, including appropriate supporting service organizations, when the paramount qualification requirement of the positions is management and executive knowledge and ability.
Duties shall provide simultaneous support of approximately ten (10) on-going upgrades and fifteen (15) fieldings of U.S.
Army attack and reconnaissance helicopter (and future Attack/reconnaissance variants) training simulators to include: assist the
Government in the acquisition planning and execution of major simulator upgrades; coordinate directly with Aircraft Platform Program Managers, the FSTSS prime contractor, and Fort Novosel customers in the management of current and new requirements in support of Army Aviation Initial Entry Rotor Wing (IERW), advanced, and collective training; provide overall product coordination activities in support of simulator upgrades, simulator support, and simulator management; support the intensive management of this Life-Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) program and assist in development of required project documents for approval; assist in writing portions of the contract Statements of Work, establish schedules, contract data requirements lists, prepare presentations, etc.; attend preliminary and monthly in-progress reviews for simulator concurrency upgrades and modifications.
Duties include shall analyze, review, comment and make recommendations on a monthly basis regarding technical solutions to
meet training requirements based upon factors of hardware design alternatives typically produced by development contractors that will
be used to develop design baselines documenting requirements for hardware manufacturing
Requirements:
5 years minimum experience
Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge of military doctrine and tactics.
Knowledge of the Military logistics process.
Knowledge of the deployment and employment of military combat, combat support, and or combat service support systems.
Knowledge of acquisition products and other training support materials.
Knowledge of military command relationships and operating procedures at the Joint, unified and specified command level and operational force employment.
Knowledge of Training Aids, Devices, Simulation and Simulators (TADSS) and of operational testing.
Knowledge of the Joint planning process.
Knowledge of the development and production of live, virtual and constructive training.
Extensive knowledge of military doctrine, tactics and procedures, and individual, crew and collective training development and management.
Ability to evaluate current programs with emphasis on the ability of those programs to satisfy operational user training and OPTEMPO requirements.
Ability to evaluate fielded programs with emphasis on the cost-effective implementation of targeted technical upgrades for extended life cycle support.
Ability to develop metrics to assess the value added by PEO STRI products to the warfighter.
