What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Research Systems Analyst position at ECS Federal, LLC?
ECS is seeking an Operations Research Systems Analyst to work in our Orlando, FL office.
The Contractor shall analyze actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business within ACC-ORL to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Contractor shall routinely communicate both verbally and written with ACC Senior Leadership. The Contractor shall utilize skills in data analytics, data visualization, development and deployment of organizational dashboards comparable to products reduced by ServiceNow or Tableau.
Contractor shall devise modeling and measuring techniques; utilize mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.), and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.
The contractor shall demonstrate skills in cleansing and preparing data, analyzing, and exploring data.
The contractor shall demonstrate an expertise in statistics, analyzing and visualizing data, preparing reports and dashboards, communication and writing expertise in the current domain related software, systems, and platforms.
The Contractor shall analyze data models and derive logical conclusions, develop innovative solutions for operational and strategic changes, and budget and forecasting to ensure that costs do not exceed the limit.
The contractor shall use automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. Develops and maintains databases and data systems and reorganizes data in a readable format.
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance
5 years experience
background in mathematical, statistical, and general operations research and analytical support
modeling and measuring techniques; utilize mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques
