Oracle APEX Developer

ECS is seeking an Oracle APEX Developer, providing support to our national laboratory customer in Albuquerque, NM / remote.

The Enterprise Information System group provides integrated, secure, process-based solutions that enable business and mission-based objectives, reduce burdens on the workforce and effectively comply with regulatory and other requirements.

Responsibilities:

APEX Developer for Enterprise Applications - Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and ES&H organizations in the development and support of software solutions to meet a variety of business needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing requirements, workflows, and conducting process analysis to inform software development.
• Creating new software solutions and enhancing, modifying, integrating, and correcting existing software applications.
• Delivering solutions that prioritize user needs and business goals while aligning with customer and/or CIO requirements, constraints, and technological realities.
• Applying standard software engineering principles to ensure compliance with software quality standards in the development and support of software solutions.
• Developing test plans and conducting testing of software solutions to ensure functionality and quality.
• Collaborating and coordinating with peers, customers, and other IT service providers to ensure effective project execution and support.

General Description of Benefits

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or relevant discipline and 6 years relevant experience. In lieu of degree an additional 6 years of related experience totaling 12 years
• Must be US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a required DOE L-level security clearance.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with SQL, XML, JavaScript, a scripting language (e.g., Python or Ruby), and an object-oriented language (e.g., Java or C#).
