What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at ECS Federal, LLC?
ECS is seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to work in our Washington, DC office on a hybrid basis.
This role will execute cybersecurity project management initiatives that include:
- The facilitation of cybersecurity projects and to provide coaching on effective project management
- Performance of centralized status tracking, to include directorate-level reporting, and facilitate the creation and maintenance of metrics dashboards
- Responsibility for supporting a large event handling exercise
- Digesting and simplifying information received from event organizers and developing briefings for executive to technical level stakeholders
- Working with stakeholders to determine and facilitate participation in the event
- Providing briefings, coordinating initial confirmation from participants, providing registration support, and other needs as they arise
- Assisting in the coordination and execution of training related to the exercise (e.g. technical toolset training or incident response communication training)
- Developing products to assist in the exercise (e.g. developing handouts or registration information)
- Updating and maintaining a repeatable documented process for executing future iterations of the exercise
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000

- Demonstrated experience supporting project management initiatives within a cybersecurity environment
- Demonstrated experience establishing, documenting, and managing the scope, schedule, and resource allocation for projects and sustaining activities
- Ability to express oneself professionally in both verbal and written communication
- Ability to conduct briefings and present materials
- Knowledge of industry-standard and organizationally accepted project management principles and methods
