ECS is seeking a Project Scheduler to work in our Fairfax, VA office.
ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team in building the next-generation Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber data solution. The CDM Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) dynamic approach to strengthening the cybersecurity of Federal networks and systems through better awareness and visibility into their security posture and cyber threats. ECS is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a complete ‘Data Services' solution which includes the collection, normalization, visualization, and sharing of cyber data from more than 100 Federal agencies. The CDM Data Services product is an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.

ECS is seeking a project scheduler responsible for the development and implementation of program schedule while collaborating with leadership and technical teams to ensure that projects are completed according to contract and project performance goals. Candidates for this role are highly skilled in Microsoft (MS) Projects and its capabilities. Responsibilities include:
- Create, update, and maintain complex schedules and workflows in MS Project schedules.
- Work with highly technical teams to update and maintain MS Project schedules across multiple workstreams.
- Develop Critical Path Method (CPM).
- Identify relationships, dependencies, constraints, and milestones with project work schedule.
- Conduct What-If Scenarios and provide impact analysis to project teams and management.
- Perform schedule impact analysis for change orders.
- Develop, maintain, and be prepared to brief leadership on schedule milestones.
- Develop and present high-level schedule briefings to project management team and Government customer.
- Work closely with the Government customer and make recommendations related to management of the schedule and performance status and project contract actions.
- Conduct end-to-end integration and successful oversight of specific directed capabilities.
- Work collaboratively across the enterprise and with external stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Monitor and control project progress, identifying and addressing deviations from the project plan.
- Working with PMO teammates to support development of common tools, processes and training related to schedule development, integration, analysis, and maintenance.
- Must be a US citizen per contract with ability to obtain Public Trust Suitability
- 5 years of experience in scheduling and related project controls activities
- Advanced knowledge of MS Suite of tools specifically MS Project & Excel
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks.
- Familiarity with Scheduling Tools.
- Experience in schedule analysis, including resourcing.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with office productivity software such as Microsoft 365, and program management tools such as MS Project, Jira, etc.
- Ability to analyze program data and generate necessary reports and deliverables
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Self-starter with strong drive to own and complete tasks
- Excellent verbal and written communication
