What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technical SETA (Battery) position at ECS Federal, LLC?
ECS seeks candidates to support DARPA Program Managers, acting as SME/Technical Advisor by participating in or leading all activities in project management, technical and programmatic risk analysis, and program-funded test coordination. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating meetings, assessing performer technical progress, projecting performer outcomes, and ensuring that project management best practices are followed by performers, independent verification and validation (IV&V) entities funded by DARPA, and within DARPA itself.
The ideal candidate should possess technical research, development, and/or engineering experience with batteries, electro chemistry, and/or redox reductions. Experience in additive manufacturing or novel geometries is a plus. Exemplary candidates will also have demonstrated an ability to learn new subjects and gain rapid insights into current and next-generation research topics, preferably with hands-on leadership of research programs at the performer level.
Requirements:- Background in batteries, electro chemistry, redox reduction, and/or additive manufacturing technologies
- 1 years of industry experience in the above technology areas.
- Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar areas needed to broadly support program goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills – both written (to include PowerPoint) and oral
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests
- Flexible and readily adaptable to change responsibilities
- Able to obtain a minimum of a secret Department of Defense clearance.
