What are the responsibilities and job description for the Geostructural Drafting Professional position at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC?
- Primarily involved with drafting (plan, profile, section, notes) of GeoStructural Design projects.
- Transform initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction/inspection drawings.
- Responsibilities include generating design drawings for retaining walls, reinforced slopes, foundation systems, drainage systems, or other engineering drawings
- Other responsibilities include preparation of site maps, soil boring logs, soil boring location diagrams, soil boring profiles, other pertinent figures.
- Office responsibilities may include assisting with or performing the following with supervision for training and development purposes:
- Perform entry level engineering calculations (depending on education)
- Reduction of geotechnical field data
- Ensure adherence to established company or client drafting standards
- This position involves computer aided drafting of site maps, soil boring logs, soils boring location diagrams, and soil boring profiles
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of related experience with documented AutoCad training/certification
- Training, education and/or certification in Civil 3D and MicroStation is preferred
