Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of scheduling activities, including personnel, for all logistics processes from receiving to delivery.
- BUILDING AND MAINTAINING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH VENDOR PARTNERS AND CUSTOMERS IS CRUCIAL FOR THIS ROLE.
- Assistance with the creation of job protocols and ensuring strict adherence.
- Supervision and training of warehouse staff.
- Tracking and documenting service providers' performance.
- Confirmation of receipt of cables from receiving and organization accordingly within warehouse.
- Development and management of operational KPIs.
- Monitoring operational performance through KPI reporting and data analysis.
- Identification of efficiency opportunities and driving strategies/continuous improvements that will streamline processes and reduce costs.
- Ensuring all service commitments (including quantity, quality, and timing) are met.
- Management of inventory (ensuring control and accuracy) and associated documentation.
- Implementation of strict security protocols and enforcement to ensure the protection of cable at all stages of custody.
- Scheduling and consolidation of outbound deliveries to achieve lowest possible transportation costs.
- Informing management on status of operational performance and ongoing issues.
- Reinforcing safety practices and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Ensuring appropriate safeguarding of equipment and cable to avoid injury or damage.
- Compliance with safety protocols/environmental regulations/labor laws at all times.
