ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital is a full-service, 117-bed acute care facility where residents of Tarboro and the surrounding communities can receive a wide range of health services close to home. As part of the ECU Health system of care, the hospital offers high quality care provided by more than 20 medical specialists, rehabilitation services, a birthing center, a cancer center, outpatient clinics and more.
Position Summary
Plan, implement, supervise, and monitor exercise prescription and progression in groups and one on one. Educate,motivate, monitor and assist customers/patients to assure safety and a positive experience. Cultivate a customer/patient and family centered approach by including goals and wishes of the participant/patient in the exercise programming/prescription. May serve as team leader for specialty program of expertise.
Minimum Requirements
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Approved Specialty Certification from approved, accredited, national organization for specialty instruction.
Master's Degree or higher
Three to four years related experience
NCCA accredited certification
