ECU Health North Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited, 204-bed acute bed facility serving Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties in the north-central region of North Carolina. Its service area also reaches into southern Virginia. With more than 600 team members, the hospital offers a broad range of medical and surgical services. It features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care.
Position Summary
Provides safe, expedient, cost-effective Outpatient Scheduling services. As a member of a team of healthcare professionals, a PSC is responsible for the scheduling of Outpatient procedures and appointments. PSCs behave in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of ECU Health. PSCs are also responsible for ensuring a positive first impression by using professional communication, clear enunciation and by greeting all callers with a smile and genuine attitude.
Minimum Requirements
High School, GED, or higher education or 5 years of relevant experience is required- or higher.
Other Information
Monday to Thursday 745-5pm, Fri 745-3pm. This is a PRN position to cover vacation time and call outs. May need to stay over until last patient leaves the clinic at times.
