ECU Health Family Medicine - Washington is a health and wellness clinic designed to care for the whole family, serving Washington and surrounding area residents.
Position Summary
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) prepares patient specimens as required for laboratory testing.
As a MLT, you will:

Perform laboratory tests. Monitor test results to assure test quality and validity. Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient.
- Maintain properly documented records of activities. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (Specify: Medical Laboratory Technician)
- Less than 1 year of experience is required.
Preferred:
- ASCP or equivalent certification
Other Information
- 40 hours a week
- Monday - Friday (8 am - 5 pm)
