ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Clerk orders, retrieves and stocks patient care unit/divisional supplies.
As a Supply Chain Clerk, you will:

Assist with adding new supply items and removing supply items from inventory management systems.
- Check inventory locations for missing labels, broken bins and corrects.
- Maintain Inventory locations in a clean and safe condition and regularly check for and remove expired supplies.
- Restock returned/unused supplies into inventory management system and retrieve items from the stockroom to address short term supply need.
- Retrieve specialty items from stockroom or other areas and return items to stockroom.
- Review and update inventory system counts, review low/critical inventory reports and address with clinical leader.
Meet regularly with customers to ensure their needs are met. Required to complete other job functions as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Some college courses preferred but not required
- 0 - 1.9 years service
Other Information
- 20 hours a week
- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday (day shift hours varies)
- Required to work additional days, when needed (orientation, meetings, staff vacations, callouts, etc.)
