The Cardiovascular Technologist Ill assists with the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, utilizing advanced skills and knowledge.
Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (RT-R).
- An additional year in special imaging (invasive) is preferred for RT-R graduates.
- ARRT certification is required OR Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology.
- Two years of experience as a technician in a Radiology area (i.e. Cath Lab, EP Lab, Vascular, etc.).
- American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
Other Information
- Primary Shift: Day
- Four, 10-hour shifts per week
- One designated late day per week
- One weekday of call per week
- One weekend of call per six week schedule
- On Call: Yes
- Weekends: Rotating
- IMPORTANT: This position is listed as a Cardiovascular Technologist III, but based on the minimum requirements that are met, the candidate of choice will be hired as a Cardiovascular Technologist I, II, III or IV.
