Position Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic performs general maintenance duties as directed by the Supervisor and Manager of Plant Operations.

Position Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic performs general maintenance duties as directed by the Supervisor and Manager of Plant Operations.
As a Maintenance Mechanic You Will
- Respond to work request by hospital staff and complete assigned work orders.
- Makes emergency and trouble repairs, perform preventive and routine maintenance.
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks related to hospital utilities and various equipment as necessary.
- Use common hand tools, test equipment, machines, power and related equipment.
- Assist in maintaining HVAC, plumbing, ventilation and related equipment.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Clean work areas and manages use of materials, supplies and equipment.
- Refer problems requiring extensive repair to appropriate individuals.
- Demonstrates appropriate behavior in the workplace, treating all staff, visitors and patients with respect and dignity.
- High School or greater degree is required- or higher
- Zero to two years related experience
- 40 hours a week
- Monday - Friday (3 pm - 11:30 pm)
- Required to work rotational weekends
- Required to work On-Call
