ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
Position Summary
The Maintenance Mechanic III provides safe and comfortable environment for all patients, visitors and staff. The Maintenance Mechanic III maintains all equipment, buildings and grounds in good operating condition, ensuring accuracy and completeness of work orders, and follows up as needed.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three years experience in Maintenance Services or related area.
- Additional Two year successful completion in trade or Vocational school program. Two additional years experience may substitute for required trade school.
- Universal Refrigerate Recovery license is preferred.
- Day Shift; 1st Shift Hours
- Rotating Call Schedule
- No Weekends
