Position Summary
Collaborates with Manager to achieve program objectives and overall program mission. Assists with the development and planning of programs to support the department. Develops relationships with and acts as a liaison to internal and external contacts. Assists with data collection, data entry and other computer needs supporting department objectives as appropriate. Attends staff meetings and assists program staff to meet department needs.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborates with Manager and program staff to achieve program objectives and overall department
mission.
a. Participates in weekly program meetings concerning budget and program progress.
b. Assists with budget preparation and monitoring
c. Participates in program meetings concerning specific department activities.
d. Attends monthly staff meetings to discuss overall program.
2. Assists with the development of department activities.
3. Supports the Manager and program staff by:
a. Prepares various reports, materials, policies.
b. Develops and gathers of materials for program promotion, and education.
c. Supports program staff in preparation for events, meeting preparation, and outreach activities.
d. Monitors compliance with department requirements.
e. Assists with training and licensing needs.
f. Tracks and orders department supplies.
4. Develops relationships with and acts as a liaison program directors and coordinators.
a. Represents the program to internal and external contacts.
b. Serves as resource to program directors and program coordinators.
5. Assists with data collection, data entry, and other computer needs supporting department objectives as
appropriate.
a. Maintains databases.
b. Monitors compliance with training requirements.
c. Assists with website development as appropriate.
6. Assists with developing and monitoring program budgets as appropriate.
a. Assists with budget monitoring, preparing forms and records for budgets and purchases.
7. Assists program staff with program meetings.
a. Attends department meetings.
b. Assists with preparing agendas and meeting materials for meetings.
c. Assists with projects and duties that are assigned as a result of meetings.
d. Organize and order refreshments/supply items needed for meetings.
Minimum Requirements
High School or equivalent is required. Additional training may be required.
One year of progressively related experience, beyond three years may be substituted for 1 year of the required education, with a maximum substitution of two years.
2 - 3 years experience is required.
