What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiologic Technologist position at ECU Health?
The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist is a member of the diagnostic staff of Radiology Services. The technologist is responsible for the operation of diagnostic imaging equipment and for performing examinations. The diagnostic technologist must maintain a high standard of ethics while providing quality patient care. Through proper credentialing, the technologist must be ARRT (R) registered with current certification.
Minimum Requirements- High school or equivalent (or higher)
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must have current ARRT (R) registry, or if new graduate obtain registration within 12 months.
- 0-2 years of experience as Radiologic/Diagnostic Technologist
