Position Summary
The senior secretary will be a personal secretary to a manager over a cost center, handle communication and act as receptionist. Sr. Secretary types and processes various materials.
Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
High School or greater plus specialized training min 6 months to 2 years or higher
Other Information
Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm

The population consists of adult patients with general medical problems and with the following subspecialties:

Responsibilities
- Keep manager calendar, set appointments, make arrangements and preparations for travel, conferences, meetings and special events.
- Take minutes or notes, transcribes correspondence and other material from recorded or direct dictation and compose and type correspondence
- Types reports, memos and maintains various lists, card files and other records, confidentially.
- Represents the hospital at various outside community functions.
- Monitors monthly budget.
- Operates word processor or other electronic equipment.
- Coordinates duties and activities of lower level clerical positions and/or volunteers.

- Infectious disease processes
- Diabetes
- Chronic Cardiac Processes
- Recent surgical procedure
