Unit details
- 38-bed flex unit, intermediate and general
- Staffing ratios: 1:4 RN-to-Patient for general care, 1:3 for intermediate
- Primary population: Pediatric patients with complications from sickle cell, new onset diabetes and acute respiratory illness, as well as those needing postsurgical care or post acute trauma care
- Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Greater than 1 year of nursing experience is required
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification is required
- Base pay: up to $70/hour for all travel nursing positions
- 1.5x base hourly rate for overtime (over 40 hours) and holiday pay
- Additional $3.00/hour for stand-by pay and $2.00/hour for charge/preceptor pay
