STATUS: Full-time, 30% Remote

Job Purpose

The WRGA Learning Innovation Lead is responsible for managing the Inno Lab, a dynamic, community-driven learning space designed to provide exciting, high-tech educational experiences for all ages. This role involves overseeing all aspects of the Inno Lab's operations, including supervising contract staff, designing and delivering engaging learning experiences, and building sustainable relationships within the community that generate revenue and usage of the Inno Lab. The Learning Innovation Lead will serve as the primary liaison with Ed Farm staff, the mayor’s office, industry representatives and community leaders. The fostering partnerships that enhance the Inno Lab's impact and reach.

Expectations

  • Serve as the primary representative and "face" of the Inno Lab, Warner Robins' premier Ed Farm Spaces community learning space.
  • Balance in-lab responsibilities with up to 30% travel for partnership engagements, maximizing both local impact and regional outreach.
  • Engage in remote and travel-based collaborations with Ed Farm staffto support and strengthen program success across locations.
  • Maintain regular availability Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST, with flexibility to adapt to community needs beyond standard hours.
  • Act as the Ed Farm liaison, building and nurturing relationships with regional leadership, the Mayor’s Office, and contracted partners within the service region.
  • Ensure the safety, appeal, and maintenance of the Inno Lab’s physical environment, coordinating with local staffon repairs and cleanliness to create a welcoming community space.
  • Lead and coordinate a team of support personnel to deliver diverse, high-quality programming for all age groups.
  • Facilitate and implement a variety of engaging learning experiences, both independently and in collaboration with remote facilitators.
  • Work closely with the DoLP and the Spaces team to meet all contractual obligations and achieve success in program deliverables across the service region.
  • Cultivate relationships with community and regional stakeholders to support the ongoing growth and impact of the Inno Lab.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and innovation among staffand partners.
  • Identify and proactively manage operational risks, implementing robust risk management strategies to ensure program stability.
  • Develop and implement systems for tracking, analyzing, and reporting impact data to assess and communicate program outcomes effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a leading-edge program approach.
  • Represent the Inno Lab, its programs, and Ed Farm professionally at meetings, conferences, and other events, advocating for its mission and community impact.

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Deploy existing programs while designing and delivering proprietary Inno Lab learning experiences aligned with the Inno Lab's objectives, ensuring programs are accessible and relevant for all age groups.

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Regularly train and support contract staffand remote facilitators to ensure high-quality program delivery, providing resources and guidance on the latest educational practices and technology use.

Frequency: Monthly

Measurable Goals/Outcomes: Space Maintenance, Compliance, and Safety

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Oversee the physical upkeep of the Inno Lab, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment; work with local staffon maintenance needs as they arise. Identify and mitigate risks associated with program operations, ensuring compliance with local, state, and national regulations and safety standards.

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Partner with Ed Farm leadership to develop and implement systems for recording, analyzing, and interpreting impact data to measure program effectiveness and guide improvements.

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Build and maintain relationships with key community and regional stakeholders, including the Mayor’s office, to support the Inno Lab’s growth, sustainability, and relevance in the Warner Robins community. Partner with Ed Farm Community Engagement stafffor successful events and engagements.

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Stay informed on educational technology trends and best practices, integrating new ideas into the Inno Lab’s programming to keep offerings engaging and cutting-edge.

Tasks or Duties to Accomplish Outcomes: Professionally represent the Inno Lab and Ed Farm in reports, meetings, conferences, and other events, providing updates and insights on progress, challenges, and accomplishments.

Frequency: As-required

HOW POSITION WILL BE EVALUATED (include Frequency)

Evaluations will occur twice yearly. Informal evaluations will also be conducted as needed during 1:1 meetings

Required Skills, Behavior, And Knowledge

  • Expertise in Community Learning Programs: Knowledge of innovative learning programs, including EdFarm initiatives, digital literacy, and computer science curriculum. Ability to align programs with communityneeds, emphasizing accessibility and relevance for all ages.
  • Instructional Design and Technology Integration: Proficient in instructional design for K-12 and adultlearning, with experience incorporating cutting-edge technology to create engaging educational experienceswithin a community setting.
  • Stakeholder and Community Engagement: Skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships withcommunity leaders, local organizations, and educational stakeholders. Effectively communicates with diverse groups to promote Ed Farm's mission and programs.
  • Proficiency with Apple Technology: Comfortable using Apple products (MacBook, iMac, iPad, Apple TV)and apps for creating and delivering high-quality learning experiences.
  • Assessment Design and Implementation: Ability to develop and apply various assessment methods tomonitor and evaluate both student and teacher progress, supporting personalized and continuous learning.
  • Data-Driven Program Analysis: Skilled in analyzing program data to identify trends, assess impact, andmake informed improvements to enhance learning outcomes and community engagement.
  • Collaboration and Partnership Development: Able to work closely with Ed Farm staff, community leaders,and stakeholders to align programming with strategic goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared vision.
  • Strong Facilitation and Communication Skills: Capable of leading engaging, interactive learningexperiences and delivering presentations both in-person and virtually.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related tosafety, risk management, and program compliance. Proactively identifies and mitigates operational risks.
  • Program Evaluation and Continuous Improvement: Monitors the effectiveness of programs, using data to drive enhancements and adapting to community feedback and emerging educational trends.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepares and delivers reports, presentations, and other documentationto communicate outcomes, progress, and challenges. Acts as a representative of Ed Farm and the Inno Lab atmeetings, conferences, and events, advocating for its mission and community impact.
