About the Role:
Ed Green Electric, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support our operations by managing the movement, storage, and distribution of electrical equipment and supplies. This role plays a key part in ensuring that our technicians have the materials they need to complete projects efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming electrical materials and equipment.
- Track inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
- Pick and prepare materials for technicians and job sites.
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Ensure work areas and storage spaces are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist in periodic inventory audits and reporting.
- Collaborate with purchasing and operations teams to coordinate material needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.10 - $25.01 per hour
