Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and repair work as specified on repair orders with efficiency, following dealership standards.
- Diagnosing and repairing vehicle systems, including the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning, according to specifications.
- Providing accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
- Clearly explaining mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service advisors and customers in a non-technical manner.
- Continuously expanding your technical knowledge through formal training sessions to stay current with rapidly evolving technology.
- Inspecting and testing vehicles, documenting findings to ensure all necessary repairs are completed.
Qualifications
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- ASE Certified
- Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check, DMV screen, and drug screen
