Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and orders.
• Process transactions accurately using a cash register and handle cash with precision.
• Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is organized and readily available for customer needs.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for tracking maintenance requests and vehicle upkeep.
• Fulfill customer orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality in every transaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance the customer experience.
• Assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to negotiate pricing and resolve any customer issues effectively.

Skills

• Proficient in retail math for accurate pricing and transaction processing.
• Experience with cash handling procedures to ensure financial integrity.
• Familiarity with Excel for tracking inventory and reporting purposes.
• Strong skills in inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Ability to operate a cash register efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes is beneficial but not required.
• Previous counterperson experience is REQUIRED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
