Ed Morse is currently seeking a Powersports Sales Representative to join our Cowboy Powersports of Beaumont team.
Cowboy Powersports sells Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Polaris lines and we take a customer approach in every interaction. Our dealership is renowned for it's extensive inventory of new and pre-owned motorcycles, ATV's, UTV's, personal watercraft and Slingshots and we are complimented by a dedicated team committed to exceptional service.
Position Summary:
The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in driving vehicle sales while adhearing to dealership standards for profitability, volume, and customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will be an active listener, have a knack for interacting with people in a helpful manner, a salesman at heart and have a passion for Powersports! This position is a commission based career which means you can maximize your income based on the effort you put in!
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Assist guests through the purchase process ensuring their time with us is easy and stress free!
- Sell the passion and excitement of Powersports to our customers
- Make introductions to other departments to ensure cross selling of parts and accessories, financing, insurance products and services, warranties and service plans
- Using proactive sales techniques, patiently and persistently follow up on all prospects and customers
- Follow a well structured sales process (that works!)
- Maintain the showroom and display of motorcycles in a manner appealling to customers
- Enter data into our CRM on all client information and interactions
- Stay up to date with our brand, product knowledge, company information, sales, and company-wide events, truly becoming a resource for our customer base.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested
- Work closely with Sales Manager to overcome customer objections
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Steady work history and a strong desire to succeed
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and follow-through skills
- Valid Driver's license with motorcycle endorsement preferred
- Must be able to work Saturdays
