The Automotive Warranty Director will lead, facilitate, and coordinate the warranty claims administration with the team of 30 Administrators and Clerks, Supervising the transaction processes for over 50 Stores with the Napleton Automotive Group. The position will ensure that all claims are reconciled in a timely manner according to OEM guidelines and State Legislative rules. The incumbent will also be responsible for monthly warranty expense (Financial Rolling Forecast) forecasts and tracking of actual warranty spend versus plan

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, and develops warranty staff to support evolving business need.
- Lead team of direct reports responsible for the warranty claims administration and transaction processes for the Napleton Automotive Group
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the team to accomplish functional strategic plans, organizational goals, daily tasks and records/monitors performance metrics. Monitor staffing levels and claim volume to ensure best-in-class service levels, and optimal business results.
- Lead in the deployment and execution of warranty administrative policies, guidelines, repair strategies, core administration, part return requirements and specific customer response requirements. Oversee and drive standard repair time (SRT) modifications as needed.
- Acquire and deploy tools to drive sustainable process improvement and change. Collaborate with others to transfer and/or deploy best practice knowledge across the Warranty team, Knowledge of various OEM tools and systems required to adjudicate and transact warranty claims efficiently and accurately.
- Utilize CDK and Microsoft Office product to efficiently manage and analyze data to report system effectiveness and support internal or external customer requests.
- Resolve warranty issues at OEM and Dealerships in a timely manner and with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Ability:

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred
- 10 years of dealership warranty experience with multiple and varied domestic and imported OEM’s
- Experience with Automotive OEM warranty claims systems
- Proficiency and experience working with CDK and Microsoft Office Suite required
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulation
- 18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional bending, crouching, kneeling, twisting, stooping, or squatting in order to file documents.
- Operating office equipment requiring repetitive hand movements.
- Frequent verbal communication to exchange information.
- Occasionally lift, carry, push/pull moderate amounts of weight up to 10lbs.
