Full job description
E.C.C. is looking for an experienced Power Curber Operator to operate our 5700-D Curb & Gutter Machine. This role is essential in shaping and paving curbs, sidewalks, barriers, and other concrete structures for roadwork and construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the Power Curber 5700-D for curb, gutter, and road paving projects
- Ensure precision in slipform concrete placement for smooth and consistent finishes
- Perform daily equipment checks, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance
- Work with the team to adjust and optimize the paving process as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Requirements:
- Experience operating a Power Curber 5700-D or similar curb and gutter machine
- Knowledge of concrete slipform paving and machine controls
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and stringline setups
- Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
