The majority of our projects are based in Tampa Bay and surrounding counties, we currently have a general contractor construction superintendent position open. This role would require the candidate to be on the jobsite full time (M-F, weekends only as needed) from conception to completion. Salary is negotiable and determined by experience and qualifications.
The qualified applicant will need to have at least five years' experience as a General Contractor Superintendent overseeing and coordinating all aspects of commercial ground up construction and commercial interior construction. Experience as Superintendent of Tilt wall Construction is required.

Duties
- Ensure that both the health and safety project plans are implemented properly.
- Monitor and enforce OSHA Safety regulations.
- Execute construction project by organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks.
- Complete quality inspections and supervise all project members, including staff and subcontractors.
- Ensure the budget is followed in terms of purchases and wages.
- Maintain the records and total costs for materials bought and payments for work done.
- Maintain the coordination with the government inspectors on the standard requirements of the site in terms of permitting, licenses and safety.
- Schedule and coordinate Subcontractors to maintain or improve the project schedule, ensuring that they provide the proper manpower to perform the work as needed to meet or improve the schedule.
- Assist Project Managers in managing projects to meet expectations of quality, schedule, and budget.
- Assist Project Manager with the development of the construction schedules and 2-week look ahead schedules.
- Write daily reports and maintain all required record keeping.
- Ensure the jobsite is kept clean and organized.
- Attend project meetings as needed and or required.
- Candidate needs to have the ability to supervise a team professionally and efficiently.
- Be able to schedule and perform multi-tasking work.
- Have required knowledge in building and construction and related sector.
- Have problem solving skills.
- Candidate needs to be computer literate and should have basic computer knowledge with a willing to learn and use new technology.
- Candidate must be able to pass required drug test upon employment as well as pass a background check.
