Inventory Specialist

As the Inventory Specialist, your job will be learning all of Our customers and items so that you can make sure we always have what they need on time and in full. You will work across all departments. Your main duties include ensuring inventory count is up-to-date, logging all inventory in our ERP software program, and ensuring that quantities of products, materials, and supplies are maintained at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Keep track of raw materials, finished goods, shipments, incoming deliveries, and stock
• Digitally manage inventory and create inventory reports in our ERP systems
• Prevent shortages of supply and manage unexpected shortages
• Order consumables as needed & as directed
• Reconcile inventory differences between physical stock and digital data in cold and Pier
• Review incoming and outgoing orders
• Create, update, and maintain supplier purchasing files that are complete with pricing information
• Work with production manager to ensure the proper movement on raw materials and finished goods in our software systems.
• Use software system to preform production reports
• Back up to the Inventory Manger. Will need to do the following in their absence.
• Manages all freezer(s) and blast freezer inventories
• Maintain financial objectives by properly scheduling deliveries of raw materials to the correct locations, accuracy of pulls, efficiency of pulls; and accuracy of the inventory.
• Responsible for scheduling all incoming packaging and raw materials for outside storage facilities.

Notifies us if customers’ orders are not filled completely or if they didn’t ship

Notifies Purchasing, Production Manager when raw materials are running low.

Performs additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, including but not limited to Production & inventory responsibilities .
