This is how you will grow:
The Field Engineer will coordinate building and installation for large construction projects. They will help plan, coordinates, and supervise projects and schedules. Assist in ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and in compliance with legal requirements.
- Building: Knowledgeable in building construction to ensure adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Equipment Installation: Provide expertise to equipment installation on site
- Cost Estimating: Act as estimator on equipment, tooling and rigging installations
- Communication: Interact with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Coordination: Oversee field installations
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to clients and management
- Problem solving: Address delays, emergencies, and other issues
- Safety: Ensure the project complies with safety codes and promote a safe work environment
- Quality Control: Inspect work and ensure quality standards are met
Requirements
This is how you will take us forward:
- 5 plus years in a similar Field Engineering role with a focus on building construction and equipment installation
- Experience with large manufacturing facilities
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent work experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, etc.
- Solid numerical and analytical skills
- History of safe, successful, and timely project completion
- Excellent oral, written, and electronic communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
