Responsibilities of the Senior SAP Applications Developer
EDC Consulting LLC (EDC) is seeking candidates for a Senior SAP Applications Developer to join our team. As a Senior SAP Applications Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting SAP applications and solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to understand their business requirements, architect SAP solutions, and deliver high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SAP development, programming languages, and integration technologies.
The Senior SAP Applications Developer will :
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP applications and solutions.
- Design and develop SAP applications using programming languages such as ABAP, SAPUI5, Fiori, or other relevant technologies.
- Customize and enhance existing SAP applications to meet specific business needs and optimize performance.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed applications.
- Collaborate with functional teams to integrate SAP applications with other systems and ensure seamless data flow.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP technologies and recommend best practices for application development.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to timelines.
- Document technical specifications, design documents, and application configurations.
