Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Eligible for $1,000 Sign-On Bonus!
Summary of Major Functions:
Provide and maintain structure for Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program. Services include conducting groups, facilitating meals and meal processing documentation, and encouraging a therapeutic milieu.
Knowledge:
Must have a strong understanding of the therapeutic process within program hours. Knowledge of confidentiality laws, and professional ethics. Strong leadership, problem solving and independent thinking skills. The ability to work effectively with persons from all educational and cultural backgrounds. Must demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and a non-judgmental attitude.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of and practice of effective counseling skills.
- Conducts meal support in alignment with EDCare’s treatment philosophy Models appropriate eating behaviors during assigned mealtimes with patients.
- Contributes clinical information and observations about patients in weekly staffing.
- Thoroughly integrates new patients into the program via orientation demonstrating knowledge of all aspects of the clinical program.
- Builds and maintains a therapeutic rapport with patients
- Facilitates therapeutic groups with expertise, demonstrating ability to engage, set limits and monitor the group process.
- Participates in Mutli-Family Group rotation
- Maintains and develops group curriculum for psychoeducational groups according to EDCare clinical standards.
- Utilize creative interventions to support a safe and effective therapeutic environment.
- Is present and available for patient requests and needs. Provides outreach to patients when necessary.
- Model appropriate compliance to all milieu tasks and adherence to policy and procedures
- Establishes and maintains presence and a collaborative relationship with all milieu staff.
- Supports clinical leadership in implementing rules, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains daily program structure.
- Conducts check-ins and check-outs with patients.
- Facilitates therapeutic outings.
- Timely completion and accuracy of clinical paperwork: progress notes, group notes etc.
- Ensures completion of daily attendance sheet for billing purposes.
- Takes responsibility for opening and/or closing the facility.
- Phone coverage (answering the phones, transferring calls) as assigned/needed
- Assists the Program Director in finding milieu coverage for groups and meals.
- Assists the Program Director in assigning MOD schedules and ensuring all duties, policies and procedures are carried out correctly.
- Provide individual therapy and POD groups when backup coverage is needed for Primary Clinicians.
- Foster collaboration with other departments to enhance workflows. Perform other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in behavioral health field.
- Strong clinical conceptualization of eating disorders and dual diagnosis treatment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- One year tenure at EDCare or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by clinical management.
- Must be actively pursuing Colorado licensure.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to clinical team discussions and meetings, including staffing.
- Strong boundaries in managing ED resistance and ambivalence.
- Alignment with EDCare’s treatment philosophy.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in office scheduling systems.
- Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to navigate an electronic medical records system efficiently.
Physical Demands and Environment:
Physical demands of this job include but are NOT limited to:
Sitting frequently, standing occasionally, walking occasionally, talking occasionally, hearing constantly, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands occasionally, crouching occasionally and using fingers intricately. This position requires lifting/carrying up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to:
95% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a medical office environment.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

- Good oral and written communication skills.
- One year tenure at EDCare or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by clinical management.
- Must be actively pursuing Colorado licensure.
- Must significantly contribute to clinical team, including staffing, team meetings, etc.
- Must have demonstrated effective boundaries when dealing with ED resistance and ambivalence.
- Treatment orientation that aligns with that of EDCare.
Computer Skills:
- Must be able to effectively maneuver within an office scheduling system.
- Minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be able to efficiently learn and effectively work within an electronic medical records system.
