What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry or Call Center Representative (On-Site) position at Edcor Data Services LLC?
Edcor is seeking additional Data Processing or a Call Center team members to join our operations team. We have full (40 hours) and flexible part time (20 hours) positions available. Summary:
Data Processing team members ensure efficient and accurate entry of customer data into our reimbursement system.
Call Center Agents are the front line for our customers and the face of Edcor. No selling involved. We answer simple service and claims questions about human resource benefits.
Data Entry Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Verify data from Clients employees who are requesting tuition assistance and verifying data fields when processing payment request.
- Ability to meet or exceed expectations of job performance which includes call monitors, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Process and complete requests accurately upon first receipt.
- Work efficiently independently.
- Adhere to set quality standards.
- Assume or assist with other tasks as needed or assigned
Call Center Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Receives inbound calls from Edcor’s customers regarding their tuition assistance applications, reimbursement requests, and other program related questions.
- Uses dual monitors, policy reference and claims reference tools to provide accurate and consistent information.
- Maintains contact center database by entering call log notes and important call information.
- Ability to meet or exceed expectations of job performance which includes call monitors, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Data Entry Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior work experience in claims processing type environment preferable.
- Prior knowledge of terminology, such as credits, grants, scholarships preferable
- Desktop computer experience such as Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Internet Explorer, etc.
- Ability to operate within multiple computer programs at one time.
- Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Call Center Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-4 years of customer service experience, preferably within a call center environment.
- Basic Computer knowledge (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Pay / Location:
- $15/hour quarterly quality bonus, depending on experience
- In office - Troy, Michigan
