Special Projects Intern
Volunteer Role with EdCoSpace
Location: Washington, DC (remote option available)
Hours: approximately 10-15 hours per week plus 2 weekly staff meeting.

EdCoSpace, a dynamic early childhood consultancy in Washington, DC, is looking for a motivated college student or advanced high school student interested in gaining hands-on experience across multiple aspects of business operations. This role perfectly compliments summer job, vacation or summer camp commitments.
As a Special Projects Intern, you’ll play an essential role in supporting EdCoSpace with various initiatives that will help build your professional portfolio. This role is designed to provide you with real-world experiences that can be showcased on your résumé, from social media content creation to strategic planning and business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Social Media and Marketing: Assist in planning and creating social media content that aligns with EdCoSpace’s mission. Tasks may include drafting posts, scheduling content, and engaging with followers.
• Course Creation: Support the development of early childhood education resources by researching and organizing content, designing course materials, and testing online course platforms.
• Business Strategy: Conduct research on best practices and help with strategy formulation for key initiatives. This may include market analysis, competitor research, and recommendations to support growth.
• Operations Support: Assist with administrative tasks that support business functions, such as data entry, document organization, and project tracking.
• Special Projects: Work directly with EdCoSpace’s founder on ad-hoc projects, from preparing presentations to coordinating community events and implementing new operational processes.
