Overview
Contributes to the store’s profitability and overall customer experience by:
- Assumes store responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager
- Ensuring KPI’s within the store are met or exceeded
- Coordinating team members to provide the best balance of service and operations
Job Responsibilities
YOU MODEL A SERVICE CULTURE
- Drive a service and selling culture to accomplish store goals and maximize performance
- Applies knowledge of retail KPI’s to make decisions that drive achievement of established sales targets
- Optimize the consumer experience by leading in-store omni channel initiatives
- Coach, motivate and inspire the store team to deliver a premium consumer experience
YOU COACH AND DEVELOP
- Assist with on-boarding, training, and development efforts in the store
- Analyze performance and share appropriate and prompt coaching and feedback
- Complete all training programs and effectively apply the learnings to the job
- Seek coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve performance
- Deliver best practice implementation to drive overall store performance
- Ensure compliance to established HR policies and procedures
- Works with SM to identify strong performers with potential for growth
YOU MANAGE STORE OPERATIONS
- Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, initiatives, and directives
- Supports continuous improvement in stockroom processing and replenishment procedures
- Manage loss prevention as well as health and safety guidelines
- Supervise sales transactions to ensure quick and accurate processing while adhering to procedures
YOU’RE A BRAND AND PRODUCT EXPERT
- Be a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude and Values
- Supports an appealing easy to shop environment for customers by ensuring visual merchandising and housekeeping standards are maintained consistently throughout the store
- Partner with your SM to ensure the effective and timely delivery of product training materials
YOU HELP TO DRIVE STORE PROFITABILITY
- Supports the store’s financial success
- Coach the store team to increase sales, productivity, and profitability
- Minimizes loss by ensuring all loss prevention procedures are followed and adhered to

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Must be 18 years or older
- Minimum 12 months experience working in a customer focused retail environment with a minimum 6 months of leadership experience
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions
- Demonstrate an inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performance
- Ability to maintain reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Must be proficient with computers and POS systems
Requirements & EEO Statement
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (which includes nights, weekend and holiday availability)
- Ability to bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed
- Ability to travel to other store locations (if needed) and attend district meetings
