Eddie's of Roland Park is looking for a Cheese Department Lead to join us and add to our excellent family of workers!

The Job duties are as follows:

· Initiate interaction with customers by greeting customers and providing assistance as needed.

· Ensure customer satisfaction by following through on customer requests.

· Manage product presentation.

· Take and fill special orders for customers

· Slice, package, weigh and price cheese items.

· Keep cheese and olive bar items stocked.

· Ensure freshness and check dates.

· Clean cheese area and cases.

· Operate the scale and label printer

· Handle customer inquiries.

· Maintain Eddie’s high standards for product freshness and sanitation.

· Work with the management team to help meet sales goals, promote upcoming events and holidays.

· Dynamically sell product by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions

· Assist with cleaning duties and product merchandising.

Requirements:

The Cheese Department Lead provides outstanding customer service, greets customers in a polite manner and works efficiently to ensure accuracy during receipt and preparation of a customer’s order.

The ideal candidate must have a solid knowledge of the many variations of cheese and possess no less than two (2) years of customer service experience selling cheese.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
