Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, valves, and motors
- Weld and braze refrigeration pipes and fittings
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience in field service or equipment repair
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting refrigeration systems
- Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Knowledge of air conditioning systems is a plus
