BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Employee will become an integral member of the maintenance crew working under the direction of the Road Manager. Employee will be responsible for maintaining and promoting professionalism; and for inspection Fabrication, Design, and repair of all cattle guards and equipment of Eddy County Road Department. Must be able to read accurately all gauges on tools and equipment and make correct judgments in the operation of equipment. Must be able to read and understand maintenance manuals, publications, work orders, blueprints, and schematics. Responsible for the documentation of inspections and repairs performed. Responsible for the acquisition of the necessary parts, equipment, and tools to perform assigned tasks. Must have the ability to perform all duties in an individual or crew environment, in the shop or field. Employee may be required to work irregular hours, overtime, attend job-related meetings, in and out of state, and perform other duties as assigned.
