Job Overview: The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant, including staff supervision, customer service, financial oversight, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a high-quality dining experience for guests.
- Supervise, train, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Ensure all health and safety standards are maintained.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Develop and implement restaurant policies and procedures.
- Manage the restaurant’s financial performance, including budgeting, profit and loss, and cost control.
- Organize and execute staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure food quality and consistency.
- Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant and ensure it meets health standards.
- Perform administrative duties, including payroll, ordering supplies, and managing daily reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a restaurant manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including customer service, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
