Continuous Improvement Manager

Position Responsibilities

· Develop data tracking reports and processes to increase awareness and act as a tool to cultivate a quantitative decision-making culture

· Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports, which include key metrics and variance analysis that explain financial results

· Lead various CI projects within and across operations to optimize performance

· Deliver significant Continuous Improvement Cost Savings through the execution of complex, facility-wide A3, Six Sigma, and Kaizen events

· Scope and lead cost savings projects to reduce overall production costs and waste; report on progress regularly

· Work directly with plant leadership to guide the creation, documentation, and implementation of site-focused improvement plans aligned with organizational strategy

· Create opportunities to share and develop best practices with an emphasis on standard work, process confirmation to drive team member engagement, and improved throughput

· Analyze complex plant performance data to transform opportunities into action

· Review performance to plan and conduct variance analysis

· Utilize data mining and problem-solving abilities to analyze results, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions to management

· Lead training events to improve all team members' ability and knowledge base in process development, process improvement, as well as waste recognition and reduction

· Support the Plant Manager in building cultural Lean change throughout the plant

· Support process improvements and development through cross-functional department collaboration

Position Qualifications

· 2 – 5 years of relevant work experience (required)

· Knowledge of financial systems, general accounting concepts, and Lean manufacturing preferred (required)

· Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (required)

· Experience with business analytics and visualization tools – Power BI, Tableau

Standout Qualifications

· Financial experience in a manufacturing industry

· CI experience in a food manufacturing environment

· Experience with ERP systems

· Bachelor’s degree
