What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Eddy Foods?
DUTIES:
Provide maintenance and repair to a variety of food processing and packing equipment, including forklifts, Multivacs, metal detectors, tumblers, film, battery p.m.'s and other machines inside the plant.
Requirements:
- Experience in a food production plant with cold (38 degrees to below 0) temperatures.
- At least 2 years of experience with Multivac food packing machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to understand functions of equipment with computer-programmed settings.
- Knowledge of boiler maintenance a plus.
- Able to stand, walk, bend, reach and use hand tools through out the day.
- Observe and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Regular and predictable attendance with the ability to work overtime as needed.
NOTE: THIS POSITION IS FOR 3RD (overnight) SHIFT
Pay Rate: $24.80 - $34.00 (depending on experience) weekly perfect attendance bonus
