Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician with strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing EDDY Pump systems at customer sites. This role requires extensive travel to various locations, both domestically and potentially internationally, to support our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Commissioning:
- Perform on-site installation and commissioning of EDDY Pump equipment and systems.
- Ensure equipment is installed correctly and operates according to specifications.
Maintenance and Repair:
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of pumps and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the field.
- Replace or repair faulty components using appropriate tools and techniques.
Technical Support:
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Respond promptly to service requests and emergency breakdowns.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation of work performed.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on customer sites.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through professional interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
Travel:
- Willingness to travel extensively to customer locations as required.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a field service technician or similar role.
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with pump systems, rotating equipment, or industrial machinery is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Skilled in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of PLCs and control systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in industrial settings.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain a passport for international travel if necessary.

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
