We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Entry-Level Parts Counter Associate to join our team. Counter Duties:
- Assist customers and technicians in finding and purchasing the correct parts.
- Check inventory and stock parts as needed.
- Acquire parts in a manner consistent with timely vehicle repairs.
- Process sales transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Provide excellent customer service and answer inquiries about parts and pricing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries
Delivery Duties:
- Safely operate a company vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and in good condition
- Provide excellent customer service at the delivery site
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and sales transactions.
- Willingness to learn about automotive/mechanical parts (training provided).
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with vehicle parts and accessories.
