The Machinist manufactures quality machined parts from drawings, meeting required tolerances and specifications, and optimizing production quality and efficiency.

As Manaul Machinist you will have to

• Manually machining and manufacturing quality precision parts (manual lathe and mill) from various materials to specified size and shape, based on Work Order, drawings and specifications provided by Engineering department
• Carry out required set-ups and adjustments on machine tools
• Machine parts to print – manual Lathe and Mill
• Perform dimensional checks before and during production
• Operate all equipment and machine tools in a safe and proper manner.
• Report any anomalies or situations involving risk to yourself or others concerning equipment and tooling
• Keep your work environment and equipment clean
• Ensure that the finished product is clean and free of defects.
• Hold tolerances per drawings and work orders
  
  

What Makes You An Asset To Our Team

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• 1 Year experience minimum
• Must have a high level of detail
• Self organized person with strong action abilities
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Ability to interpret cutting parameters and conditions recommended by tool manufacturers
• Ability to analyze technical data
• You are rigorous, autonomous and versatile
• Quality awareness and adherence to high standard of quality in all work
• Ability to work in and team with great communication skills
• Safety awareness
• Understanding of assembly process and ability to follow all processes and procedures
