Job Function :

The C.N.C Programmer is responsible for accurately programming and editing needed processes.

Responsibilities :

Meet all quality standards in performing assigned tasks.

Follow all processes and written work instructions, drawings, schematics, and document and report any discrepancies.

Complete all production forms accurately.

Must follow all OSHA standards and company Safety policy.

Provide production support and contribute to the production goals of the department.

Capable of applying knowledge in all assembly areas and product prep for shipments.

Work with full understanding in (advanced) CNC editing / programming and CAM programming (e.g. Surf cam, UG / NX, Master Cam).

Proficiency in Arithmetic and Trigonometry functions.

Qualifications & Requirements :

This position requires an individual with the following skills / attributes

Must be able to use all required tools and machinery

Knowledge of Product

Must have NX / Unigraphics experience

Must be able to perform fast-paced repetitive tasks

Must have good communication skills

Able to read Blueprint Drawings

Understand the Production Traveler Procedure

Must understand the ISO Quality Policy

Shop skills

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of experience

Must be able to read and follow Work Instructions and finish inspection

Advanced C.N.C editing / programming

Must understand and use the four basic arithmetic functions.

Read and understand set up sheets

Be able to read inspection results and convert for CNC editing

Familiar with FANUC & MAS-3 and similar CNC controls

Ability to work independently or with a team.

Work Environment :

This position works in a warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and specialty machining equipment.

Physical Demands :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and / or move items over 50 pounds. Items in excess of 50 pounds will need to lift with team techniques or use of proper equipment.
