Products are designed, engineered and tested using the latest manufacturing processes at facilities across the United States to ensure premier performance.
The Product Information Specialist will link various data sources to generate data-driven insights while adhering to AutoCare Standards. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, fitment data, images and standards, pricing, product descriptions, and B2B data resolution.
Essential role and responsibilities:
- Daily maintenance, including monitoring and database maintenance.
- Knowledge of data workflow and data content management.
- Monitoring and managing the details of products, delivery channels, data quality, and governance.
- Lead initiatives to onboard product content into the PIM, collaborating with product management, Marketing, and sales teams.
- Monitor existing metrics, report on key data measurements, resolve data issues, and synchronize content between our PIM platform and various content resources.
- Ensure a clear understanding of the applications, supporting infrastructure, and systems integration.
- Identify process and system improvement opportunities to leverage the PIM application to improve business processes and data governance and support efficiency efforts.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to complete and migrate the required product data, technical data, marketing data, and digital assets into PIM.
- Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders’ insight to drive business decisions to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
- Advanced understanding of business processes, standards, and practices around product data.
- Perform system administration of PIM, working with the software vendor to resolve reported issues and monitoring system performance.
Required skills:
- Attention to detail - The Candidate must possess and consistently demonstrate extreme attention to detail when syndicating content.
- Multitasking and Diversity - The candidate must be highly multitasking and capable of switching thought processes between brands and departments.
- Microsoft Excel - Applicants must have an intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel. We require that individuals be familiar with Excel formulas and formatting while maintaining a detail-oriented approach to day-to-day tasks. They must also be able to work with large, compiled numerical datasets.
- Platforms – Knowledge of ERPs, product management/development platforms, data integration software, and asset management and e-commerce platforms supporting software.
- Amazon Vendor Central – Knowledge or understanding of the Amazon seller platform and effectively and creatively apply product content/data to database and Amazon listings.
- Automotive Knowledge – Highly recommend that candidates have basic automotive knowledge, preferably in performance vehicles.
- Cooperative/Teamwork– Work with and communicate effectively with several departments, such as product management, sales, and marketing.
- Communicator – Can effectively communicate and is capable of relaying information concisely.
- Dedicated – Maintaining focus and applying steady effort to long-term projects without losing attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a data administrator or in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in database design, maintenance, management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with MS Office.
- Experience with PIM systems.
- Experience with Oracle, QuickBase, PartsHub, SDC, Aquia DAM, and Magento is a plus.
- Excel credentials or certifications are a plus.
- Auto Care - Aces and Pies certification is a plus.
